Mission & Goal
Families realize safety and healing at Aegis, where they can address issues related to their experience of domestic violence, which often include homelessness, substance abuse and trauma.
Description
Aegis is a short-term residential facility for survivors of domestic violence and has provided 24 families a supportive, therapeutic environment since 1981. Through experiencing support and safety, residents improve their parenting skills, develop networks of support, overcome legal issues and gain housing. In addition, this facility's location is kept confidential in order to protect the families.
