HomeBase offers a unique, comprehensive approach to preventing homelessness throughout Manhattan. Sponsored by the NYC Department of Homeless Services (DHS) and operated by Palladia. This program helps clients resolve any immediate housing crises that places them at risk for homelessness. HomeBase is a comprehensive approach to homeless prevention that addresses issues such as substance abuse, HIV/AIDS, mental illness, criminal justice and domestic violence.

Admissions Criteria
- Applicants must currently reside in the borough of Manhattan or is returning to a residence in the community after a period during which they resided in an institution
- The household's total income must be at or below 50% Area Median Income (AMI)
- The household would be homeless but for this assistance
- Individuals or families that have exited the shelter system with some type of subsidy which is in jeopardy.
