Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Coach - 21 hours per week

Location: Manhattan or Bronx based
   
Duties:

Under the supervision of the Director, provides ADL education in individual and group settings.

   
Responsibilities:
  • Educate clients on ADL in group and individuals settings.
  • Conduct budgeting and financial management groups, household maintenance and other ADL related skills.
  • Complete all required documentation.
  • Set up and track urinalysis testing.
  • Participate in staff meetings, case conferences, supervision and trainings.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Agency-Wide Vocational Services.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree or enrollment in accredited Human Services program, two years of experience counseling/case management with ADL material; experience working with substance abuse, housing, and/or employment. Knowledge of substance abuse and ADL. Ability to facilitate ADL groups and individuals sessions. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work within a team.
